Capcom Unveils Zelda-Monster Hunter Alliance

MHXX is out today in Japan

Monster Hunter XX, the enhanced version of Monster Hunter Generations, has made its exclusive debut on the Nintendo Switch in Japan today. But is it truly exclusive? Well, sort of. Unless you choose to download it from the region-free Japanese eShop. Not only can you acquire the game at this moment, but you can also obtain the free demo without the hassle of dealing with a Japanese credit card or point card.

It certainly doesn’t hold back on the Nintendo collaborations. Capcom has just released a video highlighting its Breath of the Wild crossover (disclosed earlier this year), featuring a Link outfit. Other crossovers encompass Strider, GARO (a renowned anime that also found its way into Final Fantasy XIV), and Okami.

I believe I’ll refrain from going through the complications for XX, or perhaps even pass on it if it arrives in the West. All my focus currently is centered on Monster Hunter World.
