XCOM 2‘s expansion War of the Chosen has now been released. If all the reviews thus far have made you nod your head in approval, we have rounded up the various deals available online for the Steam copy of the game. However, if you were expecting deep and astonishing discounts, you might be a little disappointed as the release-week deals on XCOM 2: War of the Chosen have been rather cautious. Nevertheless, at the very least, you will have a range of retailers to choose from.

At the time of writing, five digital retailers are offering discounts ranging from 12% to 16%. If you were hoping for 20% or more, those discounts have vanished along with the expansion’s pre-order status.

Note: For the discount at GMG, you’ll have to sign in or create an account; otherwise, you’ll only see a 5% discount instead of the 15% one.

User reviews on Steam are extremely positive, with 78% giving it the thumbs up.

A big and serious warning: Many of the incoming negative reviews come from Mac/Linux gamers whose release date is later this September (similar to console gamers who won’t get the game until September 12). In our opinion, these are of course reasonable negative reviews, considering that Firaxis and Feral Interactive haven’t done a great job communicating this on the Steam page.
