Disney Lorcana fans were simply ecstatic to get their hands on the brand new Shimmering Skies set leading up to its launch weekend. Many of them had eagerly pre-ordered their decks and booster boxes well in advance and then shared their amazing Enchanted pulls with the entire community, making us all fervently hope that we would be lucky enough to get some truly remarkable ones in our own packs.

Those who had pulled an Enchanted from a Disney Lorcana Shimmering Skies booster pack took to the TCG’s subreddit to share their finds. There are a total of 18 such Enchanted cards in this set alone, but of course, we all have our personal favorites that we long to obtain for our collections. It seems to me that anyone who picked up a booster box has managed to get at least one Enchanted pull, although there are those who have been especially fortunate and managed to collect quite a few.

User RaggleFraggle5 has shared one of my absolute favorites from the set during the Shimmering Skies launch weekend. It’s a 5-ink Action card called Finder’s Keepers, which allows you to draw 3 cards. But the reason I adore it so much is due to the stunning artwork from Aladdin featuring the one and only Iago.

User CansofKrylon posted an interesting Enchanted that is slightly cut incorrectly. It’s Snow White, but you can see from the card’s back that it has been cut a bit too high. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem that this error makes it significantly more valuable as you can’t see what the other card would be, if there is one. I would keep this one for playing as it makes for a great conversation piece.

User AndiK94 pulled my absolute favorite from the Lorcana Shimmering Skies set. It’s Donald Duck Pie Slinger, a 5-Ink Floodborn Hero Knight. He has Shift, so you can play him for 4-Ink if you have another Donald Duck already on the field. However, it’s his abilities that make him the perfect card for me.

Humble Pie enables you to make your opponents lose 2 Lore if you play this card using its Shift cost. Raging Duck adds +6 Strength to the card if your opponents have 10 or more Lore. It’s the ultimate comeback card for turn 4 and I can’t wait to put it into play.

Finally, user Living-Calendar-1716 shared their lovely pulls from the second booster box they acquired. And the highlight here, of course, is Clarabelle.

This card has some truly magnificent artwork, but at 7-ink, it’s not cheap to play. Its Shift cost is 5, which isn’t overly burdensome if you have played a lot of Ink early on. Clarabelle’s ability, Keep in Step, is incredibly powerful as it allows you to draw cards to match what your opponent has in their hand at the end of your turn, provided they have more. This can force your opponents to play their cards prematurely and make mistakes or simply give you more to chase Lore with.

I still haven’t picked up my own booster box for Shimmering Skies, but these pulls are making me eager to get more than one. Interestingly, I noticed that the prices for booster boxes dropped one day after the launch day for the set, so they are definitely worth grabbing soon if you want to build up your collection without spending a fortune.
