Corrupted Sentinels in No Man’s Sky can be located on planets that are part of Dissonant star systems. You might also come across Corrupted Sentinels randomly attacking your Planetary Settlement, or near Salvageable Scrap dig sites. However, the surest way is to find a Dissonant star system.
Players aiming to find Corrupted Sentinels specifically for the Liquidators expedition should first set up their Minotaur Exocraft and pilot it to defeat the Corrupted Sentinels. This way, they will also make significant progress towards the “Timberwolf” milestone in Phase 5, which requires eliminating 50 targets while piloting the Minotaur.
How to Find Dissonant Star Systems
In No Man’s Sky, to find a Dissonant star system, install an Economy Scanner in your starship. Not only does it inform you about the economic level of a star system, but it also reveals whether it is Dissonant or not. You might stumble upon a Dissonant star system without using an Economy Scanner, but having one saves a lot of time.

Once you have installed the Economy Scanner, open the Galaxy Map and look for star systems marked “Dissonant” instead of the typical “Water” category you might have noticed on other star systems. If you have an Economy Scanner installed but still can’t find a Dissonant star system, then installing a Conflict Scanner on your starship might be beneficial. The Conflict Scanner allows you to identify pirate-controlled star systems and determine their type.
Finding Corrupted Sentinels
Once you find a Dissonant system, warp to it and locate a planet that says “Dissonance detected”. That planet will be teeming with Corrupted Sentinels. The dissonant planet will have Dissonance Resonators, Atlantideum crystals, and Radiant shards, and destroying any of them will spawn Corrupted Sentinels in No Man’s Sky.
