The cinematic commences with a nightmarish sequence of events as Richtofen experiences a horrific dream filled with death and destruction. For those who are long-time fans of the Black Ops series, they will likely recognize the familiar voice talents of Nolan North. Although his role has not been officially confirmed yet, fans are already buzzing in the comments about his return. His comeback isn’t overly surprising, given that North has been teasing Richtofen’s return.

Once Edwards wakes from the nightmare, we are transported back to the early 1990s and step into the upcoming Liberty Falls map. Just like in all Zombies storylines, things take a chaotic turn when a mysterious entity poses a threat to the world. The iconic Wunderwaffe makes its grand appearance here, as Richtofen uses it to electrocute the undead. This sneak peek confirms that there will at least be one Wonder Weapon in Black Ops 6, but there is surely more to come.

As a die-hard Black Ops fan, seeing Edward Richtofen through the lens of modern graphics is truly a sight to behold. And having Nolan North once again voice him makes it even more epic, taking me back to the days when I first encountered the character in Origins.

While Richtofen seems to be the “hero” in the Liberty Falls cinematic, the Terminus Team, the playable crew in Black Ops 6, has a different perspective. The Terminus trailer indicates that Edward will be the main target of the BO6 Zombies saga as they plot to seek revenge. He has committed numerous wrongdoings in previous installments, so now his past is finally catching up to him.

There is still a great deal of mystery surrounding the Black Ops 6 Zombies story, but fortunately, the upcoming CoD Next event provides more insight. So, if you are eager to learn more about Richtofen, tune in to the event on August 28 to prepare for the BO6 Beta release.
